Day 1 Arrival Thessaloniki
Arrival at Thessaloniki airport.Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Chalkidiki.
Day 2 Peninsula Sithonia - honey tasting
Today you will get to know the most beautiful finger of Chalkidiki: Sithonia, which impresses with a rough, wild landscape of austere beauty. Afterwards, the tour continues past small bays, through pine forests and along bizarre rock formations. After a short stop in the harbor village of Neos Marmaras, you continue to the "Pigeon Harbor", Porto Koufo, a picturesque, protected natural and fishing harbor. Continue along the coastal road around the finger and enjoy the view of Mount Athos at Kartalia Cape. After a break in the beach village of Sarti, drive to Nikiti. The village of Nikiti is famous for its beekeeping. Here you will be shown and explained how honey is produced and offered to taste it. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Chalkidiki.
Day 3 Olinthos - Nea Moudania market

Nea Fokia - Afitos village.
Today brings you to the archaeological site of Olinthos. The ancient city is almost completely recognizable and well exposed. Here you will see the well-preserved remains of the walls. The rest of the journey shows you Chalkidiki’s largest market in Nea Moudania. Stroll through the colorful hustle and bustle. Afterwards, you continue across a canal to the "first foot" of Chalkidiki - the region of Kassandra.In the village of Nea Fokea there is a small harbor flanked by a hill with a Byzantine tower, the Tower of the Twelve Apostles. After a short break, we continue to the village of Afitos, which is lined with long beaches. Afitos or Athitos is a village built of traditional stone houses and has a special charm. You will have time to explore the area before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Chalkidiki.
Day 4 Thessaloniki - Optional: Visit to an ouzerie
Today you will drive to Thessaloniki, the second largest metropolis in Greece after Athens and the "Pearl of Northern Greece". You will see the impressive mosaics in the Byzantine main church Agios Dimitrios and visit the Agia Sofia as well as the Rotunda and the nearby Galerius Arch. The tour continues to the citadel and finally to the city’s landmark, the White Tower. This was once part of the Byzantine city wall with its fortifications and towers. Afterwards, visit the market halls of Thessaloniki, where different goods are traded. Optional: visit to an ouzerie. Overnight stay in Chalkidiki.
Day 5 Day at free disposal or optional: Mount Athos
The journey today takes you to the peninsula of Mount Athos. The boat trip along the peninsula to the Monk Republic on Mount Athos begins in Ouranoupolis. The monasteries have been enthroned majestically high above the sea for thousands of years. In this independent state, ancient laws still rule and not everyone is allowed to enter. From the boat you can admire the unique and imposing monastery architecture. Overnight stay in Chalkidiki.
Day 6 Stagira – Olympiada – Arnea – Optional: Wine Tasting
Today’s drive takes you to ancient Stagira, located on a small picturesque peninsula called “Liotopi”. Stagira is known as the home of the great philosopher Aristotel. Afterwards visit Olympiada, a small dreamy place. Enjoy the impressive landscape on the drive to the traditional and picturesque village of Arnea. There you will be enchanted by the traditional hostel dating back to 1812. Arnea is also famous for its carpet weaving, especially its flokati. Arnea is the center of Northern Chalkidiki. Optional: There is the possibility to participate in a wine tasting. Overnight stay in Chalkidiki.
